This package includes the following:

  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel: It is used as a broad screening tool to evaluate organ function and check for condition as diabetes, hypertension, liver disease and kidney disease.
  • Lipid Panel: It is used as part of a cardiac risk assessment to help determine an individual's risk of heart disease and to help make decisions about what treatment may be best if there is borderline or high risk.
  • CBC: It is used as screening test for various disease stages including anemia, leukemia and inflammatory processes.
  • Vitamin B12 and Folate: They are tests often used in conjunction to detect deficiencies and to help diagnose the cause of certain anemias, such as pernicious anemia, an autoimmune disease that affects the absorption of B12. (B12 and folate are two vitamins that cannot be produced in the body and must be supplied by the diet).
  • Iron: This test is used to detect and help diagnose iron deficiency or iron overload.
